This is why messy things like eating, smoking, and small children aren't allowed in my cars.

But on a more serious note, here are some suggestions:

Can you remove the seat cover?
I have removed wax from clothing in the past with an iron and a LOT of rags.
You get all the wax off that you can mechanicaly, and then iron the wax through onto the rags.
So, scrape, place waxed cloth on top of rag with wax side down, and iron on the non-waxed side. For heavy waxing, you may want to have a rag on each side to prevent waking your iron.

On further thought, the seat cover fabric may not be a good idea to iron, you may want to find out for sure before using that option.

Good luck.

You can always just put the ice cube(s) in a plastic bag if you are worried about the seat staying dry

I thought the seats/covers were covered under warranty? Have to get out my stuff to check but I do recall my dealer telling me they were warrantied for stains and stuff like that.

If you can't get it out might be worth a trip to the dealer or at least a call.

I guess my dealer includes it because I had it on my Vue and it is covered on my Astra and there was no extra charge.

If they can't clean it they will replace it. I had a stain on the passenger seat on my Vue that I could not get out so I took it in and they had something that removed it, no charge.

I used this advice yesterday on my L200.
During lunch, I was eating gummi-bears in the car. apparently I left one on the front seat. After work I noticed it had melted and covered most of the front seat.

A shopping bag of ice and a Dairy Queen plastic spoon were used to scrape away the mess fairly easily.

I'm sure this method would work with chewing gum or crayons as well.
