Default Cleaning a '92 SL2's EGR. (Vaccum EGR)

I am going to attempt to clean it. My car was spitting (I believe) codes 26 and 32 which generally indicate a bad/dirty EGR. I cannot find a HOW TO with pictures on how to clean a Vaccum EGR on these forums. Any help? Also do I have to buy a gasket from Saturn for it as well?

BTW I calculated my gas mileage for 95% city driving it came out to 26.4mpg I increased it by 3MPG by not having really heavy starts (But I still rev it close to redline getting up to the speed limit, not everytime but once in a while)

One word of advice I can offer on cleaning a vacuum assisted EGR valve is this, if you use some carb cleaner to loosen up the gunk, dont get any of the carb cleaner on the plastic/rubber part of the diaphragm unless you want to buy a new EGR valve....(ask me how I know)...LOL
