Correct tire pressure for 205-40-17 on 93 SL1
What is a range of pressure that I should be using in my 205-40-17 tires?

what is the brand and model of tire? what is the load index? you at least need 30psi front and 26psi rear. more if those tires have less than the load rating (based on info shown on tire rack your 93 sl1 needs an 84 index) for saturn oe tires.

Always wondered how 17's would look on an first gen SL1.. nice. Is that a rear disc conversion I see?

Nice looking wheels - I run 34 front and 32 rear on my 17s. Also 205/40 series.

 Tires are Kumho Ecsta 711, I don't have the car with me so I can't check the load rating, but I remember reading the max pressure was 44psi. They're at about 32psi right now. I'll give the 34 front/32 rear a shot. I'd noticed the car sort of "diving" in curves since I had the tires put on this year, something that wasn't happening last year, so I thought I'd start off with a check of pressure. The rear discs came with the car when I bought it with 144K, so if it was a conversion, it wasn't me that did it. They came as a surprise when I went to do the brakes!George
