Car is an '03 3.0L VUE, 25k miles.
The missus drives the car - said the SES light came on and was noticing it was acting a bit sluggish. Man at gas station said it was probably the loose gas cap he found. Fair enough. I drive it for a week and it seems OK, and the SES light went out, but took it in today for 24k service and for them to check it.
Now, he's the weird thing. I have the service invoice, and it says:
Comm: Pulled code P0440 evap system, no leaks, recalibrated ECM as TSB 04-06-04-033.
Repair: Computer (Control) Body Reprogram
1. The AllData summary page says this TSB is for the 2.2L, not the 3.0L engine. Is that 'typical' or normal?
2. Can someone do me a favour and pull the TSB so we can see what it is? Bit odd to get a ECM tune up for a loose gas cap...
It was all under warranty anyway, but curiosity is getting to me...
