Question Correct Coolant ?

Coolant light came on a few days ago on our '03 L200 so I went to get coolant for it, my buddy who has an '02 L200 said I should be using the orange coolant but the coolant that was in it was green! Should it be the Orange (Dexcool) or green?

Dexcool was factory fill.

If someone put green in it, you'd be best getting a complete flush and refill with Dexcool. Mixing can make a mess inside your cooling system.

Will just using green cause any problems?

The aluminum block wasn't designed for using the green stuff. Some corrosion could happen.
Get it flushed and filled with Dexcool.

A friend of mine had a dealer put the green stuff in his SW2.
