1998 SL2
Default bearing noise,I think

I have a bearing i believe coming from air cond. compressor that is rattling.I found some thrown oil around the air cond. compressor. My question is,if it is the air cond. compressor, should I fix now or can I wait untill spring? Do I take a chance on it locking up,or am I WORRING for nothing? I have a 98sl2 with 98000 miles thankyou in advance
