1998 SC2
Default Hello from Colorado

Hello All,

Am new to the site but not to Saturns, actually I used to own a Loaded 2002 SC-3 3 doors with 80,000 miles back in 2010. I had it for a 2 years and I put 30,000 miles with no an single a hiccup.

Like a dumbass I sold it to a friend, he drove it to 200,000 with just needing a clutch, starter and brake pads. He totaled on car accident.

I was so pleased with the car that I sold my Honda Pilot and bought a 1998 SC-2. It was pretty clean until last year we got hit by a hail storm with hail the size of softballs, It destroyed the car. It put a 4 inch hole on top of the rear fender, busted windshield, rear window and a door window not to mention hundreds of ding all over, but the car runs great.

The car give me 34 miles per gallons and it been a good car the 1 year I owned it. I hope it last me to 200,000

Am glad I found this site. Looks like here a tons of people with great knowledge, I hope to learn from them.

Thanks.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Welcome to SaturnFans, RicanSC-2! I'm sorry to learn of what happened to your two Saturn SCs. From the way your post is written is appears that you no longer own the second car. Is that correct?

The body panels, including trunk and hood, are simple to swap. Dunno if you want to put the money into it, but I hear paintless ding repair type stuff would work well on the roof. Or you could remove the headliner and try tapping them from below
