Looking forward to it!!!!

99 SL2 will be making the trip. She is not perfect, she is missing a headliner, has a bad scratch, and the exhaust header is ugly. But, she drives beautifully with the new suspension I put in, and those Recaro seats!!! Oh and bigger wheels and bigger meatier tires. Dream boat ride!!!

My 92 SC was a terrible ride to Hershey, PA last week. I think it is the bushings rubber that have deteriorated from age. Or it's the radials in the tires not being where they should be.

My teeth vibrated... (not motor mount, that is new). Do not want to vibrate my teeth for 10 hours.

Yep, heading up early and hitting a nearby car wash if all goes to plan. Its a nice drive up as the sun rises over the hills of northern Connecticut. I try to arrive at 9am and do some last minute pointless polishing up of the old SW2. Its always a fun day. From what I can tell this will be year no. 6 for our Saturns joining in at the event although I personally missed it 2 years ago.

Thank you all for showing and making it a memorable day! The weather was great, the cars were great, and the people were even greater. I would have never imagined way back when that nine cars would someday show up! From CT, PA, VA, and IN. And of course MA. Thank you all for making the trip to show off your Saturns and share the experience. And thank you Cityhawk for having the vision.

Who knew we would have such an unexpectedly large turnout this year? Saturn turned out to have the most entries in representation with nine cars. Pontiac came close in number but not by model. The S-Series had 8 entries while our ninth entry was a bright red Ion coupe driven by a charming young woman who drove from Indiana with her mother to attend the event. She put us all to shame being the proud owner of an additional 6 S-Series cars back home. I would guess that we also had the car with the most mileage as another Indiana (Yes this is a 4 hour event just outside of Boston Massachussetts) entry in attendance had over 434,000 miles on its still ticking clock. We dubbed the grassy slope that we have parked on almost every year since 2014 as "Spring Hill North". And correct me if I am wrong but judging by CityHawk's photos on Facebook, one of our young ladies from Virginia won an award this year. (I had to leave early sadly so I am sure the gaps will be filled in by future posters).

Be proud Saturn Fans and sleep soundly knowing that the inexplicable love we have for our cars is alive and well ...and growing in number. ...and catching on with the kids.

Here is the Unofficial Official Group Photo. Cast in order of appearance at the event to the best of my recollection. Send me your email address in the Private Message and I will send you a quite large (512dpi) at 10" x 8" JPEG suitable for framing or making a warm quilt for the coming winter nights.

The one attached is only (144dpi) at 10" x 8"

Dummo is correct, SF user ehuntress got the museum choice award. Registered attendees of the event are given ballots to vote for the "people's choice" award. Another award is given which is voted on by museum staff, which is the award ehuntress won with her 1999 SL2.

I will add that the young woman with the 7 Saturns who drove the red Ion coupe was SF user daynewman who posted earlier in this thread.

Glad to see that the event had more people representing the brand this year! Sounds like a good time.

I had forgotten all about Dummo's SW2 until I saw the photos. Well played on taking that additional "staging" for your car Dummo. Also cool that Ehuntress bagged an award as well. And to Daynewman for staying stealthy while owning a fleet.... well done young lady!
