Default Saturn 2003 l200 indicator lights and starting problem!!

I pulled in my driveway...had to replace a vent on the car and in doing so i removed the radio and climate control panel...when i reinstalled everything the indicator lights do not come on when the key is in the run position and the car starts for about five seconds and than shuts off..any ideas..? And the five seconds it is running all the indicator lights come on...?

Default Re: Saturn 2003 l200 indicator lights and starting problem!!

You might get more replies if you post this thread in the L-series tech forum. For now, maybe examining radio and climate control connections is needed - disconnecting and checking for bent/shorted pins. If you can leave both disconnected, try starting again. Some climate control signals passes thru the body control module and may interfere with bcm functions. The bcm runs security, interior/exterior lighting, instrument gauges and monitors all modules to pass error codes to the OBD II port. The bcm is second in importance to the engine computer.

If this is a power problem, main power and distributing it consists of; battery, battery cables and their connections. 12.5v on standby, 14.5v worth engine idling. Battery cables should be free of corrosion and tightly connected to the battery. If unsure of battery condition, have it tested at any store selling car batteries.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
