![]() Last time I had to drain mine I just removed the one bolt holding it on and dumped it into a bucket. I know 3rd gen has a different bottle shape though and I'm not sure if it's mounted differently. Should be similar though as long as the air pump doesn't get in the way.

![]() It would probably be easiest just to use a siphon. A piece of rubber hose would do the trick, fill it with water or washer fluid, keep your thumb on one end and drop the other end to the bottom of the tank and lower the free end to a point below the tank and release your thumb and drain back into a container.

http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=145117 Kaervak's post indicates there is a bottom bolt close to the side light, which sounds about right. The washer tank is very long. Though, if you get down there, I suspect you could just pull the hose or pump out to drain it. Again, it's been several years and I don't recall the setup down there. Been several years since I pulled a 3rd gen washer tank; probably 6 years ago. I think I was planning of trying to fit it into my 2nd gen SL2 to increase capacity ... ![]() A turkey baster sounds really easy, and I've got one for garage use. I've actually got the wheel well liner out, so I'm sure it won't be too hard to do. That reminds me, I need to get that liner back in before winter. I broke the screws removing it, so I need to get hardware.
I would like to clean that screen too. ... 2000 SL2 Automatic (back on the road) 17X,XXX miles. 1999 Chevy K3500

![]() The $400, 78k mile, 00 SL2 went to LKQ scrap for $125.
Really hated to see it go when the interior and exterior were an 8 out of 10, the only issues I know of were a bad ignition cylinder and a leaky rack and pinion. But hey, it was sacrificed to save a 00 SW2 and the shocks to the 97 SL2 that has 295k miles. Good parts I used: Motor, shocks, rear doors, main cat, driver-side mirror, BCM/ECU, throttle cable, all fuses/relays, arm rest, cluster, near new tires, a tie rod, a 1yo battery, and I am sure a few more things. So my cost of all those excellent parts was now adjusted to $275!! I put most of the old/bad parts back on, including a 97 DOHC motor in the trunk. ...
