![]() Before throwing away money on refrigerant refilling................a leaking system that will leak new refrigerant, it's simply wiser to buy an inexpensive uv light and spend time looking for leaks. Every Saturn came with dye at factory assembly and remains permanently mixed in with pag oil. Remove either service caps and look - you're likely seeing greenish yellow dye along with oil seeping out. Dye will glow under uv light at night or in a darkened garage. If you don't spend the time looking for why refrigerant leaked out, you're just refilling a leaking system.
Find the source(s) of this leak and then decide on repairs. Most repairs are straight forward with a few precautions of using new O-rings. An evacuation is needed to remove air and moisture in a repaired system before refilling with refrigerant. Mechanical repairs are easier for diyers while using vacuum pump and gauges more difficult to perform unless familiar with refrigeration repairs. This part can be performed by ac repair shops. And please don't use sealer as all you'll do is create the largest repair bill possible. Sealer does more harm than good as diyers find out the hard way.

![]() Have it test first then you'll know if there is a leak or just needs R134 recharge. But if there is a leak recharge will do you no good til you fix the leak or broken A/C line.
