Default One year ago today (11/05/02)

Last year on this date, I took delivery of my 03 VUE. I have around 22,500 miles on it and it has been extremely reliable. I still love the VUE, it's clean inside and only a couple of small scuffs in the paint. Gas mileage without the roof rack is now around 26 to 27mpg. Mileage this summer with a rack around 25 to 26mpg. I discovered that I get better gas mileage driving on roads with a speed limit of 50 - 55mph.

I only had a few minor items. This is a MAJOR improvement over the 2001 L100 the VUE replaced.

I have had mine 15 months now and have 63,000K(39,000mi) on it. It has to be the nicest driving vehicle I have had since my first new car purchase in 1963. Put 4000K(2400mi) on in one week in Sept. and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

I sure hope they don't some how screw it up in the future. I have seen companies with an excellent product screw them up by making changes for changes sake.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I had to resurrect an old post.

Time DOES fly - especially when you are having fun. Here's wishing you continued fun in your Vue.

Dang gum.. you got me beat. We received our VUE 5 days after you but only have 55k on it and I thought my wife drove the snot out of the thing... oh well.

The VUE is solid. New wheel speed sensor coming up this Friday but that's not a killer.

Default Re: One year ago today (11/05/02)

Bought mine new (dealer order) on 11/28/02. It has 30,000 miles, and after its last trip to the dealer for a few warranty items, is doing fine. Even the Bridgestone Duelers are okay after this last balancing. I'm looking forward to putting some new skins on it maybe next year, but the choices in 235/65/16 are not plentiful.

Like the VUE but too many trips to the dealer to fix things. I have a VTi and after 28,000 miles and almost 3 years no problems with it (It had a bolt recall). They know me now at the dealer and they say they like to see me. I think with the poly going away and the problems with the L and the VUE for my next vehicles will be looking elsewhere
