You'll need software that can interpret what's coming in on that USB port. There are several out there. This one on Ebay is pretty generic. You can find several freebie programs that will work with it and some others that you have to pay for.

...
There is nothing more frightening than ignorance in action.

EASE works well, but is not free. I bought the software in 2001, so the following might be dated:
I believe the disk they sell you has everything on it, but you only receive the password to use what you pay for.

The "GM OBD2 Enhanced Powertrain Scan Tool" might be what you need.

I also bought the "GM OBD2 Enhanced Body and Chassis Data Upgrade." As far as I can tell, the Saturn doesn't have anything on the body and chassis for the tool to communicate with.
(but I was able to find a defective rear door switch on a co-workers chevy)

AUTOTAP (http://www.autotap.com/) offers an OBDII kit. Not cheap, but appears to be good.

My mechanic recommended Auto Enginuity, http://www.autoenginuity.com/products.html . I haven't purchased a diagnostic tool yet but this looks good.

I have a Injectoclean CJ3-S that has a feed through and comes with software that lets you plug laptop into it. They make a blue tooth model too. It is a very nice unit and better than anything else I have used for price.
