Default Parts?

Where are you guys buying your parts for your cars? I have a 2000 LS1 I bought off a customer of mine for 700 dollars. She owned it since new, bought it when she was 72, sold it to me when she was 90. The car is amazing. Makes me miss my old 2000 sc2 haha. Car only has like 136k on the ticker. I put new tires on it and fixed the cruise control switch and passenger window button, but it is kind of hard to find replacement parts haha. What are you guys doing to get your parts?

Rockauto, Ebay and Amazon for some parts. Others will be Junkyards.

RockAuto for new parts, ebay for used parts

I'm finding that the wagon-specific parts are getting hard to find tho.

Welcome to the forum!

Another option is right here on this site. Place an ad in the classified section. Costs nothing to do so.

List what you are looking for in the title.

Welcome to SaturnFans, Osiris!

I think you got good deal on this car! With only 136K miles on the odometer at present I'd say that this car has perhaps another 200K miles to go if it's been well taken care of thus far!

I agree with what's been mentioned in the posts above. Of course, some new parts can still be found through OEM parts websites although the availability diminishes as time goes by.

You may find some obsolete new parts through https://www.vpartsinc.com as I have.

For more wrecking yard parts available across the U.S. (assuming you reside in here) take a look at http://car-part.com which I have also used.

Before I forget, please send my greetings to Isis and Horus when you have some time - you god of Egyptian gods, you!

I guess I forgot about this thread haha. So far the Saturn is still running great! Now has 145K and will climb 2k per month for the foreseeable future as I am commuting 100miles a day for work now. Love the car, let the wind grab the door and jacked it up a little bit now there is a little more road noise than I would like. Any suggestions with that?
