I need, not want, a RHD USPS wagon but can't find one.

Hey everyone,

I need the RHD USPS wagon but can't find one. My brother (20) and I (jeez almost 30) were talking about our dream cars, and I could only honestly say the RHD Wagon. I don't want a 64 1/2 Mustang, 67 Camaro, or some Lambo thing. I need a RHD wagon. A) Saturn B) Wagons are dope C) RHD.

I can't find any. I know they didn't make a lot of them, but I've spent hours and hours trying to find them over the last few years. I found one, that I should have apparently bought, a few years ago online that was just abused so much that it needed a full resto. I will drive/fly anywhere to get one. For some reason, autozin doesn't ever work, they have 3 listed.

Any leads help!

Are you a member of the Saturn S-series Facebook group? I see some RHD wagons popping up there at least a couple times a year.....

I see RHD wagons on Facebook all the time, they are usually in rural parts of the midwest or south; they often demand a pretty penny as they are sold to other rural carriers who have trouble finding RHD vehicles for their routes.

They are usually in the worst shape though for nearly 3-4x the price, at least to other Saturns near me.

To quote a 99 Saturn SW2 'Single cam' posting for $4.4k:
"I know what these vehicles are worth it's a factory rhd vehicle"

Saturn exported RH drive S-series to Japan. Many years ago, I recall a post about some body /company importing a Japanese RH car Saturn from Japan (via Canada, IIRC). Might be worth looking into?

That’s how every swp came from the factory. You want a manual or twin cam, you gotta swap it yourself.

I saw this post too, the poster claims it's 1 of 400, assuming postal wagons. Is that true? Were there only 400 SWPs made for the American market?

The drivetrain really doesn't matter to most people who buy the SWP's since they will probably just lower the car 3-4 inches and put fancy wheels on them for that JDM look.
