2009 XR Won't start..'Service air bag'
Had my 09 Vue XR in for PA State inspection past Friday....passed. It was running perfectly LOL....
The tech just bled the brakes, swapped tires, etc....when he lowered the car on the ground ..won't start. Lights work, there is ECU communication, BCM OK, checked grounds, keys, starter was by-passed that works everything is OK....but it refuses to crank. Leaves it for the weekend. This morning when the tech came in to start diagnosing ..a "Service Air bag' pops up on the OBD message center. 1st time for that. Upon investigation the code says the car is upside down.. Anyone experience this ? The shop bought in an electrical expert ..2 hours ago...going by process of elimination before we look to a new ECM, ECU whatever.. Thoughts ????? |

OK guys,
We found a short in one of the leads to the ECM...I'll post more detailed info after we speak to the tech who is a freaking genius IMO ...found it, fixed it. |
