I see a ton of S-Series and the occasional Ion on California's Highway 1 between Moss Landing and Santa Cruz. At LEAST three every time I drive down there. Maybe I'll keep a camera ready for next time.

Purple 1994 SW2 auto. 305k+ miles. Head gasket replaced due to an overheat at ~261k. Timing chain replaced for good measure. Passes California smog testing.

I had just pulled out my cell phone with the intention of capturing an S-Car. Then, lo and behold, a bright red beauty shows itself! What a great bit of luck. I snapped a few from afar as we both waited for the light (1-3). Then, my turn to go. I pulled off a beauty of a side trick shot but to no avail. A small pickup truck blocked what I thought would be my last shot (4). Then, 2 miles up the road I somehow sensed the red beast was following me and passing on my right as I slowed to turn left. It must have been spider-senses that enabled me to react so quickly and come up with a satisfying last shot (5).

What a day!!

^^^^ Nice Spooting and Shooting! ... I saw a few good S-cars in my travels today but was not quick enough on the draw. I fear some young gun comes into town to test me if I let on that I might be slowing down. One of us will be leaving in an early Scion XB or perhaps a Nissan Cube.

So how do those Saturns get up to such high speed on those crowded Disconnecticut highways? They must be going very close to the speed of light, to make 3-D space all slanty-angly like that. Did that motorcyclist arrive at his destination the night before he left? It looks like the license plate on the bluefish is having trouble keeping up with the rest of the car.

(Oh, wait, IIRC they repurposed Plum Island for some kind of space-time experimentation; is that the USS Eldridge in the second-from-left lane in the mirror?....)

Oh, so _you_ were going close to the speed of light. I vaguely remember that from high school Physics class; something to do with the observer effect and Einstein riding a bicycle.

Sometimes the hunter inexplicably loses his nerve. Perhaps I was seeing red or I was rushed and things got to me. I just couldn't get off a clean shot. Is shooting your fingertip with a cell phone camera akin to shooting your toe off with a rifle? ... Coincidentally, I was on my way into 'TARGET'.

Things are getting other-worldly out there lately..
First: a Mercury Saturn mysteriously shows up a few days ago on Craigslist with no photo.
Second: I spot a 1970's Plymouth Satellite that same day.
Third: I spot another 1970's Satellite two days later.
Fourth and Fifth: Minutes after the Satellite spotting I manage to pull off two quick Spot & Shots from my moving SW2 cruising at an altitude of 8 inches. I thought little of these events until after I got the images back to my darkroom at Air Force Headquarters. I soon realized that I had photographic evidence of alien Saturns hiding in plain sight down here on the ground. I am not at liberty to say any more but I am submitting these unaltered images under the liberties provided by the Freedom of Information Act.

Ive seen thousands of UFO/hubcap tossed-in-the air photos, but never like this...

Were any of these sightings near NORAD, the Interstate tunnels through the Appalachians, Three Mile Island, a Tim Horton donut shop or Dick Cheney's house?

I saw a crushed SL1, most likely a third gen, on a Castle rerun last night!
It was painted flat white and was part of an art display. The show centred around an art theft and murder and took place in some gallery.

A few quick and burry shots (sorry). The Red Gen 1 SW2 has lived at a local gas station for over a year. I am guessing its a parts runner since it has no for sale sign on it and it occupies different parking spaces each time I pass by.

I hope she's getting good attention.

Here are some Spot&Shots to chew on ...and perhaps spit out.

Spot&Shot0928131124.jpg
I snapped this one off while driving with my wife (translation: Warden) in the car. I managed to not get yelled at for taking pictures while driving. Well, we were in stand-still traffic.

Spot&Shot0921131152.jpg
This addresses the motion distortion created by the scanning of my text message machine camera.

Spot&Shot0928131933.jpg
This I took while getting gasoline for our big 4.0 liter Pacifica... I didn't have the heart to surreptitiously switch Fuel filler hoses with this guy as we both fill up. (like I usually do when on opposite sides of the pump with a non-Saturn economy car.)

Spot&Shot0930131837.jpg
This is just a good action shot. I meant to get it that blurry.
