1999 SL1
2000 L-Series 3.0L Wagon
Default New Tranny Solenoid $37 New Tranny Valve Body: 460.00

I was hunting around for prices replacing the line pressure solenoid inside the valve body and figure no one really discusses the cost.

gmpartsdirect.com posted part number for me when I emailed them (It's a pontiac dealer in NC) I ordered stuff from them no trouble and if the part isn't in there they have a 1 day turnaround usually to list it.

GM PART # 21003344
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $60.74
OUR PRICE: $36.37

I got the new valve body estimate because a mechanic (friend) said he wouldn't want liability of reman valve

Also if for some crazy reason someone wanted a new Saturn valve body (I own a 99 SL1) Here is the info:

GM PART # 21002897
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $50.00
GM LIST: $685.02
OUR PRICE: $410.19

...
'99 SL1 - Automatic - 161,520 miles

Most people just go to Pic-N-Pull ,get a whole valvebody ,if it is good ,put it on ,if it is junk ,take a actuator out to use for repair ,still have 3,or 4 more spare ones left. evaluated with ohm meter .
