Default 06 AWD v6 vue price worth

My family currently owns a 06 fwd vue with 220k on it (we are the original owners)

I just found an awd v6 vue with 110k the dealer wants $5k.

some problems to note

Pitting on the intake manifold
stained seats
interior door panels rubbed to semi ****
no chrome roof rack

some goods

its a honda v6 with only 110k
its awd (i currently drive a 97 crv) versatrak has to be better
exterior is in good condition[/LIST]
do you think wrong for offering $3k?

I do all my own mechanical work have done 4 timing belts in the past 2 years

Welcome to SaturnFans, no_rex4u! I'm not a VUE owner, but if you're satisfied with what you know about this vehicle then I think $3K is a perfectly fine number to start with as an offer. It's likely that the dealer may see that offer as too low and perhaps not serious, but it gives you room for bargaining none the less. Visit KBB.com to give you a better idea of what to expect when price haggling gets under way. Good Luck to you!

Please keep us updated on this and let us know how it all works out.

I agree with starting at 3k. Hold hard at 4k, and don't go over.

Typical mileage for that year model according to KBB is around 136k.
With average options, they show a typical listing price of $3,580.
The "Fair Market Range" is $2,373 - $4,102. This is based on a car in slightly better condition than what you listed with that wear and tear on it.

I checked in my area, and was able to find a listing for $3,995 with 150k miles in blue with the grey interior. Link

Assuming it's not a Redline, $3K is an ok starting point.

Honestly over $3500 and you should take a walk. There just isn't just that much intrinsic value there. It's an orphaned brand with a dubious reliability record. Heck I bought my 2006 Toyota Highlander with AWD, well equipped and less miles on it for only $4500 about not quite 2 years ago and Saturn fans can argue but truly a far better vehicle than a Vue.
There is nothing about the Vue that would make me want to over pay for one especially after owning one

Hey guys, sorry for not posting, i was super busy.

I walked away from the Vue and don't feel too bad about it.

I should have prefaced that i live in WA state and cars here are extremely over priced. KBB is not a thing here.
