Default Exterior car care products.

I have been using Autofom for the exterior care of my white Saturn. I have been happy with it , but now it is all used up and I need to resupply. Although I have liked the product, I don't know if I should try another product like Eagle one, or the new Mequirs Gold. Has any one had a chance to compare Autofom with other products such as Eagle one?

You can't go wrong with meguiar's. I use the deep crystal 3 part system. It makes even light colored cars like a mirror.

I bought some stuff for my Grand Prix, called zaino brothers show car polish.

When the Saturn was around, I put it on it, and it shined much better than when we bought it.

It is a bit involved, but the brothers (Sal) is very helpful to get rid of scratches/swirl marks, etc.

2000 SWP

From day one of buying my 2000 SWP I have used Mequiars Quick Wax and Quick Detailer. It has kept the car looking very good. My retailer always says that the car still looks brand new. I have 26k on it now. I do drive on some gravel roads and it does get really dirty. But after a good wash I use the Quick Detailer and every 3 months I use the Quick Wax.... I have use Meguiars for years and am very happy with the results I get.

2002 SC2

within the past year i have switched to meguires products... i use the scratch x, even on my brand new car, it's probably overkill, it is primalrily to fill in swirl marks, but it's a glaze which supposedly adds more shine to the car along with filling in any very small scratches, however it needs to be followed up with wax otherwise it will come off the next time you wash your car. i've used it once on my car and don't think it's worth the effort of putting it on again, followed by their gold class wax and the finish is awesome.... completly smooth too the touch and very, for lack of a better word, shiny looking. also this is the easiest wax i have ever used, came off without very much effort at all. granted i also started using the microfiber towels to take the haze off so that might explain some of the ease of taking it off.
hope this helped.
