I recently put on some raybestos ceramic brake pads. They cost more than origianal equipment types, but supposedly according to the marketing propaganda, they fade less, and will last longer. Since I am not road warrior type I can't tell about the fading. But they do work as well or better than the originals. They are quiet as church mice, and they significantly reduce the ugly bake pad dusting of the alloy wheels.

Ceramic? Hmmm...I like the sound of that. The brake dust issue alone has me interested. On my wife's GC the brake dust is enough to turn the wheels grey after a week.
