2001 SC2
Default Re: Valve Body Replacement

I have a 2001 SC2. The trans is not operating correctly. It starts out in high gear 3rd or 4th. The diagnostic codes are PO732, 733. Reverse works good.

I've been reading about the issues, testing, troubleshooting and so forth.

I took off the elec connector(it looks great, no burnt connections) on the valve body and tested the ohms. a-b=5 ohms c-d=6.8 ohms e-k=6.8 ohms g-f=5 ohms h-j=7.1 ohms

Different sites give different specs for checking the ohms on the solenoids. If 7.1 ohms is an acceptable reading, then there is another problem.

The service engine light is on.

Some of those readings are high - should all be around 5 Ohms . . .
