Hey everyone!
I’ve had my Vue for almost 2 years now. Bought it with just a little over 200,000KM, now rocking almost 300,000KM. I have maintained this car pretty much religiously, with oil changes every 5,000KM, filters, plugs, few sensors, all that good stuff over the last two years. I have even done quite a lot of mechanical work on the car. Basically every component in the front end is brand new. Always well equipped with the best Michelin tires for winter & summer. Surprisingly this thing hasn’t missed a beat. Even the underneath has minimal rust. I live in a very salt heavy part of the globe when it comes to winter, so I try & wash her down everywhere once a week. Just a quick rinse to get most of the salt off. Anyway, what has everyone’s experience been with the 2006 2.2 manual Vue? My biggest complaint - the suspension isn’t the greatest. I understand Saturn wasn’t anywhere near luxury, I also understand I purchased this small SUV for just over 3 grand CAD. But, even with essentially a brand new suspension; struts, control arm, links, bushings, all that stuff, it still feels a bit “floaty”. |
