Just bought a 2004 Saturn Vue and will replace the 16" tires. My primary criteria is road noise. I want a nice quiet touring tire. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I just put Kumhos on my wife's 2006 Vue. She only drives it around town and the road noise isn't bad. I have them on my Fiesta as well. In the past I used Coopers on my Vues and was quite happy with them.

I've run Coopers, Kumho, Firestone, Pirelli, Goodyear, Goodrich and Michelin.
The Michelins are my favorite. Great tire life, quiet, great handling and have the best wet weather traction.

My goodyear assurance tires are HELL. Smooth ride but noisy. I got a set of kumho tires/wheels for super cheap and they are much much better. Model? Not sure. That being said, any Michelin tire will be fine.

![]() Pretty sure they are the Defenders, but I will double check at lunch and update.

I ended up with BF Goodrich Advantage Control and am very satisfied. Road noise in very low and ride is very nice.

Bfg? Sounds like sams club tires. I bought 10 of them for 3 cars in 1 year. Great in snow. I never looked at junkyard tires back then. Only motor parts mostly. I’ve had great luck finding nice wheels/tires at yards.
