We don't even know what engines will be in them. It's going to be a while before any real pricing is released, but we should get a general idea of where it will be soon. There's speculation already I'm sure.

I'll be more precise... under $30,000. I predict a $27-28,000 base price and running up to $35,000 for the absolutely, gotta-have-everything, fully loaded model.

I predict lower still. $25k for a base XE. This would be in line with the Ford Freestyle and Pacifica base. I think all manufacturers learned from the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica.

I think it's the lack of a real optional uplevel powertrain that will keep the price higher. If it were available with a 4-cyl like the Highlander then I could see a $25k base price.

A four cylinder would be a real mistake, IMO. There's a big difference between the Highlander and Outlook...like, more than a foot. The Highlander is smaller than the Camry, and the Outlook is larger than a Sienna. The VUE is higher than 10 seconds 0-60 w/ the I4, and the old GM vans were about 10 seconds with the 3.4 V6 and at just about 4000 lbs. The newer ones are about 4400 lbs and are more like 10 and a half with the 3.5 V6. An I4 with the, what's it, 4600 lbs? of the Outlook would never work.

The Ford Freestyle has a V6 and starts at 24k. The Chrysler Pacifica only needed decontenting to get to 25k, and they were pretty loaded to begin with.

My guess is around $25,995 for the XE.

I have heard that XR's horsepower numbers could possibly be lower than the actual production Outlook. I've heard that the XR could possibly have 279 hp like the Enclave concept, not 267.

I thought it was the 3.5 V6 and was supposed to get in the mid 20s mpg?

The $25k Pacifica is a LONG SHOT from the original $30k base model. It looks nasty with it's cheap, black plastic trim all over the exterior. It's also has no third row seat.

Estimated pricing range for Outlook is $25-32K USD.

It would make sense that Outlook pricing start about where the non-Red Line VUE V6 leaves off. I wouldn't expect any actual numbers until fall arrives, but it is a general consensus that Outlook would be the most affordable version of the Lambda CUV trio.

Nope. The Outlook will have the 3.6 DOHC V6 with 265 and 267 hp, it is the same engine found in Buicks and Cadillacs. In the future it will also be in Pontiacs and I wouldn't doubt Chevys either.

According to GM's media site:
FWD est. 17/25 mpg
AWD est. 16/24 mpg

Yes, but in features they aren't too far apart. You lose things like the automatic function of the A/C, some power seat adjustments, things like that.
The base Pacifica has no 3rd row, but you only lose 1 seat from that. You have a 2+3 configuration, as opposed to the 2+2+2. I've never looked in the back of a base Pacifica to see how the lack of a 3rd row affects cargo space.
