Default OnStar question

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me where the OnStar box is located in a 2007 Saturn Ion Coupe? And the best way to access it.

Thank you!

If your VCIM is in the same place as previous Ions, it's mounted on the left side rear window shelf.

Thanks for the quick reply fdryer! I've attached 2 photos of the area I believe you're talking about. Let me know if this is the correct area. I want to make sure before I start digging time into it. Thanks again!

Maybe. Tried looking for the four cables in the feed holes for the vcim? According to the drawing, one is for the antenna while the other three are power and signals. With access under the shelf area, I would poke around with a light to search for wiring harnesses and see if the vcim is hidden.

Thumbs Up Re: OnStar question

Big thanks fdryer! Located it in that exact spot. Just lifted up the stiff fabric and there it was!
