Default K&N cold air intake and anti theft code

Hello,

I bought a used 2007 automatic Saturn Sky 2.4L and I want to add a K&N cold air intake to it. In the installation instructions it says that disconnecting the battery may require an anti-theft code. The previous owner lost the owners manual. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? Any help would be immensely appreciated!

Oh, what the heck...I'm going out on limb here and will say that I believe that the "anti theft" item referred to in the instructions relates to the stereo/radio/audio system head. It does not relate to disabling the engine from starting. It merely renders the audio unit useless to the would-be thief.

The answer to this concern is, of course, to be found in the owner's handbook. So if a Sky owner-member who still has the handbook would reply that would be a big help here! Otherwise, fdryer's recommendation is the one to follow.
