Default Please help to diagnose my rattling

Hello, I have started to have massive vibration in reverse and idling at lights. If in park or neutral it doesnt vibrate. The vibration seems to come from the passenger rear. I just had some exhaust work done, but since it is only doing it in gear i think its a mount.

The engine mount looks solid and i cant fit a pen in there, but I dont know where the 2 transmission mounts are or what they look like. Is there one in the rear near the muffler (where it seems the rattling emanates from)? If so which GM part number is it? I cant seem to find a richpin video on it. Thanks!

Also I have already checked the heat shields, it is not coming from them.

Sometimes the exhaust pipe will rattle where it goes over the rear suspension. Check your muffler band clamp. It is possible if you just had exhaust work done, then it caused the pipe to rattle against the suspension components.

Like Blue92 said, most of the exhaust pipe noises in that part of the car come from the failure of the muffler hanger. If you raise the tailpipe and then just let it slip out of your hand, there should be no metallic sound. If that isn't the problem, you can test the motor mounts like they do when a car is safety inspected. That is a two person operation,
