Default Popping/clicking when wheels turn

Whenever I am turning my wheels, when the car is not in motion, or when I
am rolling very slowly, I can hear a popping/clicking noise comming from the 2
front wheels , specifically the right side (or it might just be the right side, it
is hard to tell). I also hear a popping noise when I accelerate from at a stop.
Is it the cv joint? ( or whatever its called ) could the poping noise be the
sway bar? It could possibly be alot of stuff, any help would be appreciated.

Yes it could be your CV joints. Normally you would only hear it when you are moving and turning. The sharper you turn the more pronounced the sound. When mine started going I thought it was the tire catching the mud guard.
Your CV boots protect the joints. If the boot gets a hole in it you should replace the boot immediately otherwise the dirt and water that gets in will damage the joint. Once the joint is damaged (clicking sound) it must be replaced. My advice is take it to a good front end shop and let them check it over.

Do search a for "popcorn" noise and I believe I have a post in that thread.

does the noise increase in speed as the car does? Must the car be moving?

(Satech once posted that he thought the popcorn noise was the stut mounts.)

No the car doesn't have to be moving. When I move the wheels when the car is parked, i can hear the popping noise. But when the car is slightly moving, and i add gas, there is usually more popping noise. I haven't looked at my car since ive posted, been too cold outside, but i'll look for your post. Ty
