Happy Ceeeeedar Poooooint!

Subject stolen from a Cedar Point billboard I saw a few years ago. Add that to the fact I'm lacking in sleep, and you get crazy subjects.

Anyways, I'm hoping to get together some people to go to Cedar Point on October 30th, a Saturday. Who's with me?

I posted in the original meet 3 thread all the information about ticket prices. If I remember correctly, I think they're around $35 each through AAA, and that was the cheapest available price. If any of you who want to come don't have AAA, I can get the tickets for you.

The park is open noon to midnight that day, which are really good hours if you ask me. We wouldn't have to be up incredibly early to get there at opening and beat the crowd, and even if someone wants to sleep in and get there at 2 p.m., they still have 10 hours worth of park time.

Because it is the second to last day of the season, and the fact it'll probably be really friggin cold out, I'm fairly certain there won't be many people there. Which means ... shorter wait times, woohoo! Be sure to dress warm though - 50 at 120 mph (Top Thrill Dragster) means you need some serious face protection!

Even if you don't like coasters but just want to have a fun day, try and come out on the 30th! It's sure to be tons of fun!

Woo Hoo! Military is even cheaper than with AAA. I can pretend one of you is my wife and the rest can be my kids. Any volunteers for the wife? Spazie, Duffygirl? :o: lol

I think you'll have to fight fotovue for that privelidge, Bertillion.

Is this active duty military only? My dad is retired Air Force, so I've got a dependant ID card. Let me know.

How many people would be able to go only if we had it on Saturday, and how many people would be able to go only if we had it on Sunday?

I'd much prefer Saturday, but if we can accomodate more people's schedule's by going on Sunday the 31st, I'd rather do that.

Aww, shucks! It says retired too so you should be able to do it. Only a savings of $2.05 over AAA, but that is what a gallon of gas is going for these days so it can be used wisely.

Here are the ticket prices. You might have to buy them at the gate. Looks like $9.00 dollars for parking. Maybe get a few car pools together so you guys can save some money.

There are coupons too...

I think I can get parking passes through AAA, I'll have to double check. They'll probably be $6 if I can get them.

Bertillion .. the wording in your last post was kind of wierd, so I have to ask now .. are you planning on coming?

I want to start getting names of who all is going. This is in what, two and a half weeks or so?

I'm very excited. I can't wait to go!

I'd say let's plan on going on Saturday right now, unless it comes up that lots of people can go on Sunday but not Saturday. I'd much rather go on Saturday because the hours are much more convenient for me.
