Like the Haynes? Those are terrible manuals full of mistakes.

This is the way to go.

I tried an online manual once was not real happy with it. The Haynes manuals I found to be helpfull. I am not a pro, but the factory one is certainly the best.
I ordered the one from Helm. Thanks!

You will be very happy with it.

The factory manuals are expensive, they actually look like they've gone up in price since I bought mine. But here is how I look at it. The price of the factory manuals is equivalent to 1.5-2.0 hours of labor at a dealership or shop. The first repair you make using the manuals rather than taking the car to the dealer or shop, the manuals will have paid for themselves.

I actually have the paper manuals and the GM DVD that covers every GM vehicle from 1998-2010. Plus a lot of info pre-1998.

Looking to get a shop manual anything sufficient enough without spending the $200 for the dealer manual? Is the alldatadiy.com for $26.99 a year worth it?

Although this is not an answer to your question, as I was looking into alldata I found the coupon code DIYDISCOUNT (put in when it asks for gift certificate). This makes 1 year 19.95 or 3 years for 29.95. I'm also interested if anyone has had any experiece with alldatadiy.com

I have AlldataDIY for my truck, my mom's Neon, and my Aura. I am pleased with it though I have not had to do much serious service on either car. Has helped quite a bit with my 99 Sierra though when I was having problems with it.

I ended up getting the $11 dollar online copy. It works well enough. There's no navigating so that makes it time consuming but all in all it seems like it will get the job done. I might just sign up with alldata anyways $20 bucks a year cant pass on that.
