Thumbs Up 300 HP Sky at SEMA

Hopefully there's an AURA equivalent at SEMA, too.

Given the factory HP numbers, 300hp should be a piece of cake for those willing to tweak the engine management to increase the boost a wee bit.

I wouldn't want to be the FIRST one to experiment with it, but I suspect the aftermarket will show up for the party once enough cars are out on the street.

Cheers,

I like the rims. Wouldnt mind owning that. Ugly intercooler though. Needs more chrome.

Don't scroll too far down on the comments on that page. I got pretty pissed, and ripped some people a new one.

Really, I'm not that bad of a guy, but when you start ragging on the little plastic predators (and their decendants), I get a little irrational. Now, granted, even me, for instance, I don't like the L's. Never have, but they're Saturns, and I still show them the proper respect. The same can be said of the Relay. I don't know. It's just the "all tuners are from Japan" mindset. Yeah, they were. Once. Long ago. Then I turned 5 years old, and the American market grabbed onto the tuner thing and got into it. It's cool. I suppose. Sure, they're not big muscle, but seriously, when a 2.0L 4cyl can push just as much horse as a Mustang GT, friggin think about it...that's all...

Gravana is building that project for Saturn. Those body kits will be available Spring next year. Check www.gravanatuning.com toward the end of the year for details.

I get comments like that all the time about various projects. When you share your ideas with the public, you take that chance. Thankfully, we are not the least bit offended if a handful of people like that pop up. However, GM has done a great job with fit & finish with the new Kappa platform. Once most of those people drive the car (especially ours with the Turbo), they change their opinions. Mustangs and 350Z owners are easy targets for this car when turbo-equipped. They tend to rip on it a little, then after they get beat hands-down, the respect tends to follow along with several questions about what is under the hood.

I'm pretty picky myself. I really like our Sky! Hopefully Saturn will allow us to build an Aura.

Jim

PS- I enjoyed reading your ripping on LLN...
