Default drivers side mirror

so my saturn was side swiped today and the drivers side mirror was taken off.

Now I need to find the part, its a power mirror and im not to good with car parts but I do know the dealership wants to charge me 350$ for the mirror when im sure I can find it online for a lot less than that.

I just dont know the difference from manual remote or power remote. or even were a good place to buy from is that also ships to canada.

I have

Since you probably don't have alot of salvage shops try Rockauto.com

I know they also sell them at Autozone and whatnot but I haven't heard of too many complaints from Rockauto.com so I'd look there first......

Try http://www.car-part.com . It's a database of salvage yard parts. If you find a yard with the mirror you need, and it's in the States, you'll just have to contact them to see if they'll ship to Canada.

I think that all S-series DRIVER side mirrors are manual remote. It's the passenger side that has optional power remote control via the joystick pad in the center console. There are usually a handful available on eBay for $15-50, depending on the seller. Getting the correct color, assuming your mirrors are not black like mine, might be more difficult.

No, 3rd gens got power both sides. Wish I could find one...lol

Coupe mirrors are a slightly different shape then the Sedan/Wagon mirrors for 2nd gens, probably the same idea for 3rd gens.
...
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
