Default Replace front strut mounts - Alignment needed?

I've figured out that the struts on the front of my 97SL2 are still good but I'm thinking the mounts may be going. I was wondering if a front mount R&R would need an alignment afterwards. I know with a strut R&R it would but this would be just the mounts.

Yes, as you'd still go through the same process if you were changing outthe struts (i.e. removing the steering knuckle bolts). The upside, is it wouldn't be a 4 wheel alignment needed, just the front two.
