If you're asking how to use it, the Seafoam rep was giving a lecture on it and said the best route to go was to put 1/3 in the gas tank, alittle more than 1/3 in the oil, and the rest in the vacuum line to the intake. Said the vacuum line was important to blow out a hell of a lot of carbon.

what you do is dump a can of seafoam in vacuum lines (in the middle of town)
and then hit the gas hard, you'll see the carbon :P

When i do it i prefer to take off the egr valve and run it through there. just make sure you pick the right side or it blows it back in your face

You can pull the hose off the PCV valve and suck it up through there; keep the rpms at around 2k while doing this. I poured the seafoam into one of those disposabal aluminum pans to make it easier to suck up
As for the smoke - while I am sure the seafoam is helping somewhat, AFAIK no one has ever tested to see how much is from engine gunk, and how much of that smoke is the seafoam that was just sucked into the engine ![]()
