Default Thinking about buying a 95 Sc1

Ya since i wrote my 94 SL off i've been look around the city and on autotrader.ca for some other saturns and came across a 95 SC1 It looks like its in good condition. Im probably going to go and check it out tomorrow or next week. But first im going to call and ask if its still there asking 5,400.00 with only 93,000 kms which i believe is really good... Im just wondering if there is anything i should be looking for under the hood wise to prove horrible car of the car... or not propery maintained? Thank-you!!!!

You can find newer models with twin cam engines for the same price or just a bit more. Definately get an SC2 though. That is the only regret I have about buying my 98 SC1.

i would definitely agree about the twin cam engine and 5 spd choice.

More dependable, actually FUN to drive. plus you get improved suspension.

Dont worry about the mileage if properly maintained. I have two satties. One with ~330000 klicks and one with ~260000

What does $5,400 equal in US dollars? A '95 SC1 shouldn't be more than about $2,500 US. Like others have said, I would recommend looking for a Sx2. They usually go for around $3,000 around here (same vintage).

And I wouldn't even considering selling mine, at 393,473.

And with it, would be an elaborate spreadsheet for a maintenance history.
