An earlier post incorrectly shows 'partSfinder.com' instead of the correct one being 'partfinder.com'. The added 'S' only lets you locate MEDICAL stuff.

Lowers the revolutions per mile which improves mileage slightly and markedly decreases engine wear. Allows operating in the 1500-2500 RPM range instead of the 2200-32000 RPM range. As long as you are not trying to be a winner at every stop light grand prix it is not an issue.

That 3rd gear issue is either the shift tower lever arms, the console side shift bushing, incorrect transmission fluid, or a dragging clutch.

Aaaaaand it's mine. The clutch hydraulics are poor, it engages right off the floor. Brakes need to be redone, rotors are warped. Coolant light is blinking. Has a few codes. Underneath - hardly any rust! Worth the $500.

I felt that the adage "you snooze, you lose" applied here. The seller didn't get back to me right away. I was the second person to email him. But Craigslist showed a location that was wrong, but close. We found it after driving around for 10 minutes and knocked on the door. I really wanted a Gen 2 SW2 with crank windows but this one hit most of the key desires. I like the red though the finish is rough.

Hmm, I'm tempted. Definitely don't need it though, especially since I recently bought a truck and don't have the room, but man that would be a nice little project to have some fun with.

And in the let's annoy Kaervak to no end department, two color matching 99 SL2's for $450 and $600 respectively. Only 10 hours away and look to be both in pretty decent shape body panel wise. If they were only closer, sigh.

1994 (93?) manual SL1 with 102k, $1100. Owner claims no rust or rot. https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ct...571425490.html

Also, this 96 SL2 with 70k is only $400, but the owner says reverse doesn't work. Is this related to the reverse slam problem? https://longisland.craigslist.org/ct...569718354.html

Enough slamming, and (take the following with a grain of salt because I never worked on the TAAT, just what I remember reading about it) the reverse input shaft nut (?) gets loosened, needs to be opened up and re-torqued. You need a thin-walled 23mm socket to tighten it. Might be a good deal. There is a little bumper damage to the front right, might need a closer look.

Low miles, low price, doesn't seem too bad. What really stood out to me was just how many coins that are in the cup holder.

For anyone in Ontario (or willing to travel), I have a line on a 1998 SL1 AT, $125K km, green with black bumpers, grey interior, 2 sets of tires, power windows and locks, working A/C for about $800. It was offered to me but I'd prefer manual transmission. I looked at it and I seriously doubt it was ever driven through the winter months. The undercarriage is super clean - even the brake lines. If your interested send me a PM.
