Default Aux ports on the '04 Ion 6 CD changer radios?

Hello,

Haven't had the chance of looking at the back of these stock radios but do they have an auxiliary port available?

No, but someone clever could feed audio in through the onstar port that is on the back of the radio I bet

Hmm, so it's a question of finding which one of the cables coming out the back is the input for OnStar then.

Yeah, after researching this it just not worth even trying anything. It's best just to go with an aftermarket radio with the bells and whistles instead.

If you want to used the onstar here is the wiring for that

http://www.saturnfans.com/photos/sho...0/ppuser/23081

and if you have factory XM then its really easy to use the AUX

...
If it was not hard it would not be cool....

What about the communication lines that the radio is looking for the actual module. If it cant communicate with them its not going to turn it int an aux port.

Yeah the only way I know of to use the AUX port is if you already have the factory XM and just splice in to the audio line for that....

so you would need to put an extra switch in to toggle back and forth
