Default Black Redline paint issues.

I have a Black Redline with about 2,600 miles on it. Right behind all the wheels including the rocker panel behind the 2 front wheels and the rear bumper behind the rear wheels, the paint seems to be getting EXTREMLY dull from the wheels splashing average road grime etc onto it.
I have had saturns in the past but I only have 2,600 miles on it and this usually happens over a very extended period of time. Theres even like lines of the dullness from the tread of the tires because the stick out so far. Is this normal? My last ION was silver so I caould not tell at all.

I dont drive on dirt roads at all just back and forth to work. Help!!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

That's high quality paint for ya. I have black but only 1000 miles on it and no problems like that yet.

I'd much prefer to wax it 4 times a year than roll with mudflaps. This is my toy car. I beat this thing like a redheaded stepchild. I think it looks stoopid enough without and mudflaps will only add to the pain. I'm not dogging you out for the addition but it's not a solution that is acceptable.
