I just turned 155 000 km. 2002 V6 AWD. I was putting on about 50 000 a year and after two years Saturn's offer on a trade was $8000. (I really wanted the Honda engine.) I went out and got a Matrix to use in the City and have about 40 000 km on it. I wanted to see if I could stay under the extended warranty of 160 000 as the repairs were driving me crazy. I will say though, that in the last 20 000 km, I have had no problems. I love driving it on the highway and it is great in the snow. (Although this year we don't have any.)

211,000 miles...
Just had to replace the BCM... Another timing belt will be in the very near future... There are actually two treads on this that could probably be merged... |

My 2003 Saturn Vue has 264,000 miles on it. No Kidding. We've never had to do any real work on it except the hub bearings.

240,000 miles on my 2.2l manual. Have had to replace starter, windshield wiper transmission, oil, anti-freeze, brakes, rotors, spark plugs, battery, struts, shocks, serp belt, and one odometer light on my own dime. That's all I can remember for now, but for all that, its the bomb when it comes to repairs... Name a Japanese or Korean car that compares!
Original clutch and motor at 240,000 miles=winning. All on the OLM schedule using dino oil BTW... |

![]() 160,500 miles on a 2005 2.2 FWD 5-spd...... all original 'cept for: fluids, lubes, T-stat, hoses, plugs, filters, SB bushings/links, shocks, struts, tires, Megan Springs, windshield. NO problems w/ shifter cables, but then I am easy on it and downshift into necessary gear that I will take off in when time to go( when it's cold). Also I don't leave it in gear after I stop and pull the Ebrake, or if I do, it's in the gear I will need to get out of that parking spot which is mainly my driveway that slopes downhill. The first few times I backed in , left it in reverse, and pulled the Ebrake. Upon trying to leave in the morning, clutch in, it was very hard to get out of reverse w/ the slope of the driveway causing the drivetrain to bind up. Handle these little quirks makes it easier to live with.

[QUOTE=billysvue;2006581]You changed the windshield wiper clutch at the same time, I hope
![]() If that f'ing thing had a clutch I'd have been rid of it a loooong time ago!!!! I had one hell of a time getting the wipers to spin the right way after replacing it. I fooled with it too much when I took it out of the shipping box and got it to turn a half spin without noticing and when I installed it the wipers went backwards into the engine compartment. It took me a good hour to pull it off and put a "good eye" on it before I knew what I had done... BTW, glad to hear about the Frontier! I have a $/mile calculation on here from a ways back that I am always curious for others to compare with but have had no responses. I'd be curious to see what you come up with on the Nissan. |

2005 2.2L FWD 5sp, I bought it in October 2012 with 126K and now have 145K. Changed the coil pack & crankshaft sensor. Also upgraded the radio to a 6 disk/cassette.

Wow, do I have the most miles? Anyone have one over 264,000? I wish Saturn was still in business, I'd buy another one when needed. I'm shooting for 300k!

I have a 2002 4 cyl Saturn Vue that has 211,000 miles on it. It doesn't burn any oil and still gets about 30mpg. I've only had minor repairs that I could fix myself. It is the best car I've had so far.

I have a 2003 AWD V6 and just passed 220,000 miles today actually. My check engine light came on but it still runs very well. I've owned it 8 years.

06 Trouble free 113,000 miles. However she is squeeking at the rear so I guess the bushings are wearing away and starting to use oil. About a Qt every 1,000 miles with 5-30 wt. I am going to use 10-40 next oil change. Maybe that will stop some of the oil usage.

Long time S series owner here. Retired a 98 SL2 last Feb with 430k on the clock.
Now have 2004 Vue 2.2L 5spd that I got in Feb of 2013 with 133k and now have 182k on the clock. Has been good. Only problems have been coil pack and both trailing arm brackets rusted out. Came with new Tiger paw tires that now are really badly cupped and noisy. Also had that annoying rattle from the front/rear door trim that was fixed with $2 of foam tape. Also have a new set of front control arms that need to be installed sitting in boxes. Been really good to me so far just like the five S-series cars that preceded were! But I do keep up with maintenance...... Just wondering how long the clutch will hold out? ![]() |

My 2006 Vue Redline has 124,000 and outside of normal maintenance with 100k service and some extra stuff I chose to do (megan racing springs) and passenger side engine mount which btw was ridiculously easy to replace, I have confidence it will run a long long time.
