Default Collapsed vacuum hose?

My daughter's 2006 Saturn Vue has been idling and accelerating rough lately. I've cleaned the MAP sensor and the throttle body. We have no codes or pending codes. Plugs were done about 30k miles ago. I did notice this small, black hose at the top of her motor appears to be collapsed and clogged. Could this be causing the problem? What is this hose so I can replace it?

Does anyone have any ideas? I am trying to replace this and continue diagnosing while my daughter is still home from college. Thanks.

If no one here can identify this hose, try GMs online parts sites. They're usually very good showing parts diagrams around a vehicle.

Thanks, but I can't seem to find any useful diagrams there. I am surprised that someone on this site doesn't already know what this hose is, since it is right on top and just about the easiest thing to access on this entire car.

There is one Vue member with an electronic library of Saturn Vue service manuals. His signature (at the bottom of his comments) asks members to private message him as he doesn't check these forums. You might be able to pm him for help.
