FS: 94 SW2 wagon, Fox Valley WI

FS: 94 Saturn SW2 wagon, Fox Valley area, WI. This has been a daily driver, loaner, and backup car for my young family, and now our family is getting a new member and a newer, larger wagon. It's finally time to part ways with this wonderful little car and I'd love to pass it on to someone who can get any kind of use out of it.

It's blue with a blue interior. Runs and drives fine, but could use some love or use it for a parts car. The glass is all good and the windshield was replaced about 5 years ago. The odometer's been broken since the original owner but I'd guess it's gone 250-300k miles by now. More details and pictures available upon request if anybody's interested.

Forgot the price... If you can pick it up and transfer the title, the car is free. Runs and drives so if you're in Wisconsin you can probably drive it home. (Maybe bring some coolant just in case.)

Is it a Manual? any interior shots? how is the frame since being in WI?

Still available. It's an automatic. Replaced ATF (did not flush) in 2017 to fix a hard shifting issue, and replaced the transmission filter again this spring to fix a leak from a split gasket.

I believe the frame may have had some welding done by a previous owner. If I can find it I'll try to get some pictures. There is a bit of surface rust on the inside of the door pillars and holes in the rear door sills that the previous owner covered with duct tape. I'll see if I can get a good underside pic when I get a chance.

Do you think this would make a road trip 7.5 hours to Stlouis, MO.
Considering this for a first car for my nephew in a year.

I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it, mostly because the farthest I've taken this car in a day has been about 2 hours and that was a few years ago. I drove it on a one hour (each way) trip this fall and it was okay. I've been needing to top off the coolant every month or so and would recommend carrying some spare coolant and oil along. The exhaust is also essentially straight piped so there's quite a bit of drone.

That said, it's handled everything I've thrown at it so I could totally see it making the trip with some preparations and a backup plan. I've been dailying this car, but just barely, and it's going to be a project to get it close to 100%... You couldn't find another one closer, outside of the salt zone?

The car is gone to its new home as of today. Bittersweet, but I'm glad it's getting another chance.
