Default Adding fog lights to my l100?

Hello all,

Since I got my L100 nearly 2 years ago, I've always been looking for little ways to mess around with it. My most recent idea was adding fog lights, since it appears that there are openings in the bumper they could go into.

I was wondering; has anyone done this? did you use factory fogs, and if not, what did you use? how'd you power them--run wires, directly to the battery, etc? Even if you haven't tried this, I'd still love any input I can get! Thanks!

Default Re: Adding fog lights to my l100?

If we share the same bumpers (L200&L300) the fog lights are in the same low position and totally useless (1). I have them and rarely use them as all they do.......... illuminate the ground area directly in front of the car. This makes them useless in real fog conditions and fog rarely appears in the NYC area. They're so pock marked from stone chips picked up over the years from their low position to make them laughable. And they're 55 watt lamps too. They may be considered stylish if the car were setup for a photo shoot against a nice mansion at dusk........ If you're wishing for real fog lights, these aren't. For a second daytime running light, yes. Not for fog lighting.
