Default 2 sidewall blowouts equal 4 new tires!

Hello everyone! Bart Sayers here. I had a run-in with the curb yesterday. In one corner I managed to bust the sidewalls on both passenger side Turanzas. I needed new tires for winter anyway, but wasnt quite ready yet. Oh well such is life here in WV. Anyway, I decided on going with the 225/55-18s. Near identical height, just not as wide. I purchased Coopers brand new CS4 Touring T tires. 80K treadlife warranty, they were $136 per tire mounted and balanced. I am going to get her alligned early next week (they were booked today) and we will be good to go. On the way home from the shop today, braking and cornering seem top be just fine. It really doesn't look thta much different than stock. I looked at the 235/55-18s but they were more expensive and not a good of tire for the Cooper Zeons A/S which Im sure are still a good tire. They were almost as wide as the stock and we decided my wife doesnt really need those wider tires anyway. I will put pictures in my gallery so check the Cooper CS4 Touring T out! Have a great day everyone! Lets go Mountaineers!!!
