I am I little Further SAN DIEGO. Want sell my 1997 SL1 Auto. I rebuilt trans replace the original motor with a 2001 motor. still getting 30 mpg in town. Not in the best condition. KKB has fair price at $1,957.
Or you Think I should just put on CriagList?

Fair... Body is all there, some peeling clearcoat and a dent or two on the hood. (Pics in my FS thread.) Exhaust is about gone, battery is old, and the interior plastic is deteriorating in places. I drove it daily most of last year and though it needed parts here and there it's never left me stranded. It's been our spare/backup car for several years, neglected a bit but it always goes.

I'd recommend a trailer or other backup plan but there's a decent chance it could make the drive. Spare coolant and oil, tools, earplugs/buds, and a new battery or jump pack would probably be needed.

My wife has decided to stop using her 1993 SL2.

The following no longer function: odometer, trip odometer, speedometer, fuel gage.

There is significant paint damage. There is a fair amount of hail damage, as well as other damage to the exterior. The interior isn't in great shape, either.

It sounds pretty bad. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it's definitely louder than it used to be.

It has about 110,000 miles. Only one owner. She has rarely had a need to drive on a daily basis, so a large portion of its miles were freeway traffic on trips out of state.

We live in Indianapolis.
