constant service stabilitrak and service traction control

I have a 2009 Saturn Vue 4D XE with about 150,000 miles on it. For the last year, we've had a nearly constant "service stabilitrak" and "service traction control" light from the moment the vehicle is started. The car has been running totally fine with no other issues or limitations. I have tried to pull codes, but my reader is too new. I've tried to flash codes, but it changes nothing. Have not tried the "disconnect battery" trick yet.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas as to how I may be able to evaluate it or reset it? Really don't want to sink a ton of repair money into this vehicle, but will if needed. Thanks in advance.

Search past threads within these forums for same/similar issues, using either the search or advanced search functions. Generic readers decode emissions errors, P type codes. Manufacturer's specific codes are B, C, and U codes - decoded by better scantools like GMs Tech II, repair shops using moderately/high cost scantools or mobile techs using similar scantools. At least one aftermarket scantool capable of reading all Gm codes costs around $100. There are others but I'm not familair with them or their costs. Some can connect to manufacturer sites for a fee to access service bulletins, update software and programming.
