2005 ION-2 Quad Coupe
Default Re: what trim is this, replacement

They are called belt mouldings.

I managed to get replacements for both of mine last year through the GM dealer, however as I have heard from others, it seems not all dealers are created equal and some can't get them. Mine were $140 CAD for the pair.

Your other option is an auto wrecker but as this is a common failure they get snapped up pretty quick if they are in decent shape.

Things may be different up in Canada, but here in the states any GM dealership can order them. Surprisingly, none of these parts are discontinued yet. They are very pricey though. Each of these parts for the sedan currently has an MSRP of $131.25 (US). The corresponding parts are even more expensive for the Quad Coupes at $170.10 (US) each.

The part numbers for the belt moldings for the sedan are 15235722 (driver front), 15G235723 (passenger front), 15235726 (driver rear), and 15235727 (passenger rear).

The part numbers for the Quad Coupe are 15235721 (passenger) and 15235720 (driver).
