Default Heater core replaced, still no heat

I just got done replacing my heater core and all the hoses in my 2002 l300, after finishing I let the car run to heat up and I'm still not getting heat. Not sure what to look for next, but it is just to damn cold to be driving around with no heat .... any help would be great, thanks in advance

Sometimes leaving the coolant cap off while allowing the engine to idle with fresh coolant can help purge the system of trapped air. You'll see air bubbling up and coolant level drop in the container. If the car isn't on level ground to allow automatic purging, drive around the neighborhood with cap on. Heat should come up quickly then check the coolant container to top off. Slowly unscrew the cap to release pressure.

while the car is idling how is the coolant temp? you could have a bad water pump or a thermostat that is stuck open. how many miles on the car? how does the car run otherwise? how cold is it where you are? much more info is needed.
