Dizzy Need some help!

I have a 2007 Saturn Aura XE and I'm having an issue with it. When I start the car it says it's at a normal temperature but as soon as I start driving the temperature gauge says the car is over heating in less than 5 minutes witch is not enough time for the car to over heat this drastically. I've hauled over and checked the engine and it's not at all over heated but the radiator fans stay on for a couple of minutes anyways. When I start the car again it says it's at a normal temperature again even though the car hasn't had enough time to cool down. No codes are coming up when I checked for them. I'm wondering if anybody else has had this issue before and know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

2009 AURA XE
Default Re: Need some help!

first, u verified the coolant level is ok right?

during the startup sweep test of the gauges, does the temp gauge sweep smoothly from one extreme to the other? if it does, i'd suspect a problem with the coolant temp sensor or it's wiring. it would likely help to see a video of the gauge while this is happening if u could post one to youtube.

I think it may be more than this now. Today it started to stall out, the change oil warning came up even though I had an oil change last week, the check engine light was also on and it was saying the seat belts were not plugged in. No codes are coming up still. I think the computer may need to be replaced in it.
