Happy Thought on Wolfman's Reverse Slam cure

Reading another thread I noticed that Wolfman pointed out that the reverse slam problem is more likely to happen to people who avoid using reverse. Because my '02 SL2 is due for a fluid change this promped an idea.

When i change my fluid I am going to follow Wolfman's procedure even though my tranny is fine. My reasoning is that perhaps it will keep the valve body clean and hopefully prevent me from ever having to deal with that problem.
